Sharrell Adkins, aged 82, from Rushville, passed away on March 2, 2025, in Columbus. Born on September 23, 1942, in Linton, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lorena (Bennett) Moss. A 1961 graduate of Shelbyville High School, Sharrell married Larry Adkins on December 2, 1961, who survives her. A dedicated farm wife and a nurturing mother, Sharrell also spent time tutoring at Milroy Elementary. She was an active member of the Big Flatrock Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School. Sharrell had a passion for card games and reading. For over two decades, she was a key figure in the Friendly Neighbors of Home Economics club and held the position of past president of the Dorcas Circle II.
