Salvatore A. Argila, aged 98, from Staten Island, New York, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born and raised on Staten Island, Mr. Argila later relocated to New Jersey, living in places like Atlantic Highlands, Lyndhurst, and Clifton, before returning to New York. He spent a decade in Brooklyn and the last 20 years back in Staten Island. A veteran of World War II, Sal served honorably in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he pursued a career in masonry. Salvatore dedicated 45 years to BAC Local 4, where he honed his craft and maintained his robust spirit. His love for nature was profound, enjoying a lifelong passion for fishing and hunting. He was a proud co-founder of the Valley Brook Rod and Gun Club in Lyndhurst, sharing his outdoor pursuits with like-minded enthusiasts.
