Roy Martin Wilson, aged 78, from Clarksburg, MA, passed away due to injuries from a car accident on January 30, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey.

Born on June 18, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island, Roy was the beloved son of K. Howard Wilson and Charlotte (Martin) Wilson. He was raised in Northborough, MA, and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1968. Roy’s career spanned several decades where he made many lifelong friends through his work with RJ Reynolds and Commonwealth Brands. He also served honorably as an Infantry Staff Sergeant in the National Guard, a role he held with great pride.

Roy was renowned for his remarkable sense of direction, famously claiming that “all the roads connect,” a philosophy that saw him travel extensively across the United States. He managed to visit nearly every state, with only Alaska remaining unchecked on his travel wishlist.
