Robert Carl Adams, who resided in Paintsville, Kentucky, sadly passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the age of 66. He died peacefully at his daughter’s residence.

Born on October 8, 1958, in Johnson County, Kentucky, Robert was the son of James Cline Adams and Bonnie Jean Baldridge Adams, both of whom predeceased him. His life was also marked by the loss of his beloved wife, Paula Ann Wells Adams, and his two brothers, Ronnie Gene Adams and James Bryan Adams.

Robert leaves behind a loving family, including his three daughters, Brandi Jean Adams of East Point, Kentucky, Deloris Mae Adams Lafferty of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Amber Dawn Hazlett of Ashland, Kentucky; his two sons, Christopher Ryan Short and Daimen Isaac Gregory Short, both residing in Ohio. He is also survived by his three sisters, Sherry Lynn Peth of Genoa, Ohio, Bonnie Janice Blevins of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Belva Ann Powers of Paintsville, Kentucky; and two brothers, Clarence David Adams of Sitka, Kentucky and Phillip Ray Adams of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Robert’s special niece, Teresa Dawn Cantrell of Staffordsville, Kentucky, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, will also cherish his memory.
