Robert “Bob” Berry Allen, aged 60, from Loami, passed away on the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Born on February 3, 1965, in Jacksonville, IL, he was the son of the late Robert C. Allen and Leona “Twink” Baird Allen. Bob was lovingly united in marriage to Susan Relzda on December 9, 1995, at Springfield’s First Church of God, and she continues to cherish his memory. He leaves behind his sons, Logan and Connor Allen of Loami; his sister, Pam Keller of White Hall; nephews Heath (Lisa) Keller of Troy and Drew (Teresa) Keller of Springfield; five great-nephews; and one great-niece. His early education was at North Greene, where he graduated in 1983. During his high school years, Bob was an active participant in football and baseball, and he worked at Meehan’s Grocery in Roodhouse.
