Richard P. Bauer, age 63, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born in Queens, NY, on April 2, 1961, he was the beloved son of the late Richard B. Bauer and Lois A. (Gallagher) Bauer. Richard retired as a truck driver after a dedicated career, most recently serving McClymonds Transport for over a decade. He was a devout member of the All Saints Parish at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church.

Richard had a passion for music and cooking, and he cherished the times he spent walking and enjoying sports, particularly cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July, celebrated with vibrant fireworks. Richard’s most treasured companion was his cat, Chief. Known for his genuine kindness and a hearty, infectious laugh, Richard will be remembered for his generous spirit and a heart of gold.
