Rev. Arndt was a cherished husband to his wife Elise for 61 years, a loving father, grandfather, and a dedicated servant of God. Their family life was deeply rooted in Christian faith, embodying the hope and teachings of the Scriptures, and marked by a life of generosity and neighborly love.
He leaves behind a legacy of love as the father to Paul (Faye), David (Liz), Elisabeth (David), John (Stacey), and Dan (Sarah), and as the beloved grandfather to Marie, Andy (Scarlett), Kaylie (Connor), Michael, Joshua, Ryan, Jacob (Mackenzie), Hannah, Aaron, Evan, AJ, Noah, and Levi. He was also a dear brother to Wayne (Ruth) and Judy (Bob).
For over five decades, Rev. Arndt dedicated his life to proclaiming the salvific message of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, working as a missionary in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea and as a pastor within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. His days were filled with scripture study, writing prayers for those in need, and reaching out to care for his community and family through calls and messages.
