Palma Lou Akins, aged 81, passed away on March 1, 2025, in the comforting presence of her family. She was joyously received in Heaven by her late husband, Max Akins, and her parents, Jessie Beck and Muriel Fox. Palma leaves behind her cherished children, Diana Parker (married to Jimmy), Sandy Markham (married to Ken), and Ronald Akins (married to Terie); as well as three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Sonja Gardner, Brenda Daughtery, and Barbara Ratliff, along with her brother, Frankie Beck, and her devoted partner, Bill Sargent.

Palma was a lifelong resident of Lake City, Florida, where she led a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family.
