BARRE—We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Monique Gagne Alzaga, who departed this life on February 5, 2025, at the age of 90.

Monique is mourned by her loving husband, Rudy Alzaga. Their marriage was a blissful journey of nearly 65 years filled with love and companionship. She leaves behind her two beloved children, Laurie (Alzaga) Lind, happily married to Tom Lind of Naples, FL, and Paul Alzaga of Barre, VT. Her grandson, Gavin Lind, was a profound source of pride and happiness in her life. Additionally, she is survived by her special sister-in-law, Renie Alzaga, and her elder sister, Yvette Zampieri, both of Barre, VT. The enduring bond and sisterhood she shared with Yvette was a cornerstone of her life, marked by unwavering care and affection. Monique’s memory will also be cherished by numerous dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
