We are deeply saddened to report the death of Mary Beth Adams (nee Shay), aged 71, from Bryn Mawr, PA, who passed away due to heart and lung failure on March 2, 2025.

Beth was born in Upper Darby, PA, and spent her life in the service of others through her dedicated work in nursing. A graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, she earned her nursing diploma at the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her education, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from Widener University and a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her career was marked by her roles as a labor and delivery nurse, a nurse educator, and ultimately an OB-GYN nurse practitioner. Beth’s profound dedication and compassionate care impacted the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and professionalism.
