Mario Antonio Abary Veloro, a cherished member of the Palo Alto, CA community, passed away on January 28, 2025 in Los Altos, CA at the age of 85.

Born in Manila, Philippines on January 19, 1940, Mario spent his childhood in Pagsangjan, Philippines. He was the eldest among four siblings, born to Cleofas Veloro nee Abary and Servillano Veloro.

Following his high school graduation, Mario pursued higher education and achieved two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas and another in Economics from Lyceum of the Philippines University. He later served as a professor of Architecture at his alma mater, sharing his knowledge and passion with future generations.
