Lorraine Frances Allen, beloved mother and grandmother, and lifelong Shelby Township inhabitant, passed away in the comfort of her own home on February 6, 2025, at the age of 76.

Lorraine was born on September 15, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents George Francis and Loretta (née Coty) Baird. She grew up in Utica and was a proud graduate of Utica High School. She dedicated many years to working in the automotive supply industry, where she was known for her diligent work ethic and commitment.

She entered into marriage with Ronnie Allen, her cherished partner, on August 7, 1965, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica. The couple enjoyed a loving marriage, filled with joy and the upbringing of their four children, until Ronnie’s death on March 12, 2005. Throughout her life, Lorraine held her Catholic faith close, drawing on it for support and direction.
