Linda Marie Aleshire, age 78, from Hagerstown, Maryland, and a former resident of Fairplay, Maryland, passed away at Williamsport Retirement Village on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Born on August 6, 1946, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Hershel Weldon McCubbin and Lola Mae McCubbin (née Starliper), both of whom predeceased her.

A proud alumna of South Hagerstown High School, Linda graduated in the class of 1964. She dedicated 43 years of her career to driving a school bus for the Washington County Board of Education before retiring. Besides her long-term role in education, Linda worked at the Yogi Bear Campground starting in 1999 and spent 15 years with Martin’s Grocery Store in Hagerstown.

She upheld the Brethren Faith throughout her life.
