It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Blanche Elizabeth “Libby” Adams, aged 88, on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Libby passed away at the Community Hospice Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, Florida.

A native of Bastrop, Louisiana, Libby spent many years in Palatka before relocating to St. Augustine in 2017 with her beloved husband, Aldon Adams, who predeceased her. Libby’s life was marked by her fervent involvement in Bible study groups and her active membership in local congregations, including Victory House in East Palatka and Francis Baptist Church in Francis.

A devoted advocate for family-centered conservative Christian values, Libby supported various organizations such as the Christian Coalition of America and the American Family Association with passion and dedication.

Libby was the loving matriarch of a large family. She leaves behind her son, Dale Cubbedge of St. Augustine; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy Ladd and her husband Keith of Palatka, and Pam Corey and her husband Brad of St. Augustine. She also leaves her sister-in-law Connie O’Neal of Ambrose, Georgia; along with eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her legacy of faith and family continues to inspire all who knew her.
