Laudis Ann Adams, cherished as a wife, mother, and grandmother, left us on February 19, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 83. Born on March 29, 1941, in Jacksonville, Texas, Ann was the daughter of Herman and Jessie Cotton. A standout student, she graduated as the valedictorian from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1959. She continued her academic excellence at Abilene Christian College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business as valedictorian in 1963.

Ann embarked on her professional journey with Gulf Oil in Midland, serving as an Administrative Assistant from 1963 to 1973. Following the birth of her daughter Anda, Ann shifted her focus entirely to her family, dedicating her life to nurturing her home. She returned to the workforce in 1994, joining Petroleum Strategies until 2006. There, she pioneered a management system for 1031 exchanges, a testament to her innovative spirit, which remains influential to this day.
