Kevin Paul Breneman, aged 60, from Ponderay, Idaho, sadly departed this life on January 30, 2025. His passing came after a valiant battle with cancer lasting nearly two years, during which he was comforted by the presence of his devoted family at his home.

Born on September 17, 1964, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Kevin was the cherished son of John and Lois (Scott) Breneman. He completed his high school education in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, in 1983 and furthered his studies at Penn State University, where he obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering.

On November 7, 1992, Kevin united in marriage with Kristina Marie Himes at SAYSF Bible Church in Lexington Park, Maryland. The couple was blessed with four biological children and embraced two more children through adoption. Their union, filled with love and laughter, spanned 32 wonderful years until Kevin’s untimely passing.

In a bold move driven by faith in 2005, Kevin, alongside his family, relocated from Maryland to Idaho. This significant life change was prompted by an opportunity to begin his career with what was known at the time as Quest Aircraft Company. Over the next two decades, Kevin dedicated himself to his role as a flight test engineer at Quest, now known as Kodiak Daher. His exceptional expertise and commitment greatly contributed to the company’s mission. Kevin’s presence and professional legacy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
