Karyn Jeanne Barr, born on January 27, 1972, in Kirkwood, Missouri, sadly passed away on February 23, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Philip David Barr and Loxi Jeanne Purvines Barr.

Karyn leaves behind her loving mother, Loxi Barr, and is mourned by her siblings: Kathryn Elizabeth Barr McDaniel (John), Gross (Richard) of Canton, Missouri; Michael Paul Barr (Elaine) of Arnold, Missouri; and Matthew David Barr (Chelsea) of Aberdeen, Washington. Karyn cherished her role as an aunt and great-aunt to numerous nieces and nephews including Kelsey McDaniel Eames (Jerad), Jenna McDaniel, Michael McDaniel (Taylor), Allison McDaniel Whitlach (Kyle), Ryley McDaniel, Arianna Barr, Natalja Barr, Luca Sherwood, Alexander Barr, AJ Barr, and great-nieces and nephews Rowan, Kellan, Torran, and Declan Mooney, Ryker and Ryan McDaniel. She will also be remembered fondly by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
