Karl F. Adams, Sr., aged 95, passed away on the evening of March 6, 2025, in the loving presence of his family. Born on February 1, 1930, in Youngstown, Karl was the cherished son of Michael Thamas and Laura Waller Adams. A proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, he later attended Youngstown College before joining the Marine Corps in 1951. Karl served honorably and was discharged in 1953 as a Staff Sergeant. His entire professional life was dedicated to Ohio Edison, from which he retired as a Commercial Account Representative. In his retirement, Karl enjoyed working part-time as a bartender at the Saxon Club, a role that allowed him to form numerous enduring friendships. He also cherished his weekly visits to the Boulevard Restaurant, where he relished their renowned spaghetti dinners every Thursday night.
