Karen Kay Adams, aged 74, of West Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Born on March 15, 1951, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of Melvin and Marjorie (Conway) Ketelaar.

Karen is lovingly survived by her daughters, Tina (James) Stancel and Tonya (Edwardo) Adams-Santiago. She was a devoted grandmother to Zachary J. Garland, James J. Stancel, and Jackson J. Stancel, and a dear sister to Larry Ketelaar, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her grandson Ethan E. Santiago, her sister Julie Sojka, and her brothers Craig and Tom Ketelaar.

Karen was known for her warm and generous spirit, living a life full of love for her daughters and grandsons, who were her joy. She cherished every moment with them and strived to be the most loving grandmother possible. Her family and friends will forever be grateful for her life and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.
