Julie A. Arza (née DeFiore) passed away serenely on March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 19, 1964, Julie was the cherished daughter of Louis Robert and Carol Ann (Byrne) DeFiore. She completed her education at Notre Dame High School before pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the College of St. Francis. It was during her college years that she formed deep and enduring friendships with Michelle McCool, Teresa Step, and Lori Setchell, who all stood by her side through her final moments.

Julie married Jorge Arza on May 27, 1989, after meeting him during a Search Retreat in their college days. Together, they shared a deep commitment to their faith and family, values that defined their lives. Julie’s career included significant roles at Woodward Direct in the advertising sector and later at AIAA International Adoption Agency. The joy of her life was magnified on April 8, 2002, when she and Jorge welcomed their twins, Bennett and Olivia. Becoming parents was the fulfillment of their deepest love, a role they both adored and valued immensely.
