We regretfully announce the untimely departure of Jared Lynn Ahrens, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the young age of 33. Born on September 26, 1991, in Fallon, Nevada, Jared’s presence was a beacon of joy and warmth to those around him.

Jared’s journey through life, though short, was marked by deep connections and laughter that will forever resonate with those he knew. A proud graduate of Okoboji High School in 2010 and Iowa State University in 2014, Jared’s life was filled with achievements and meaningful relationships.

His meeting with his beloved wife Tori at Iowa State led to their marriage on June 9, 2018. Jared’s role as a devoted father to his cherished daughter, Alaina, was his most treasured. Her presence brought immense joy to his life, and his profound love for her will forever be reflected in the lives of those he impacted.

An ardent animal lover, Jared found true happiness and purpose in caring for animals. His unique ability to understand and connect with animals showcased his compassionate nature. Jared’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and the gentle kindness he extended to all living beings.
