Born on January 11, 1952, in Yadkinville, NC, to Walter and Eva (Dinkins) Reynolds, Janice was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She epitomized the essence of a true southern lady, deeply valuing her connections with family and friends.
Janice attended Forbush High School in Yadkinville, graduating in 1970. She continued her education at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, earning a Sociology degree in 1974. Janice devoted her entire career to the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, which later became part of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, serving as the departmental administrator for Comparative Medicine for 37 years. Her colleagues greatly respected and loved her, always relying on her as the go-to person for any question. Her legacy is marked by her unwavering dedication and the warm relationships she nurtured throughout her life.
