Jane Ann Kibish Adamczyk, a cherished member of the New Castle community, died peacefully on February 24, 2025, while under hospice care at HIS Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, PA. Born in New Castle, PA, on July 31, 1928, she was a beloved daughter of Joseph and Anna Rudzis Kibish, both of whom predeceased her.

Jane’s early education culminated in her graduation from New Castle High School. She embarked on her professional journey with Bell Telephone as a telephone operator and later transitioned to Jo-Ann Fabrics, where she continued to share her passion for textiles. Sewing and crafting were not just hobbies for Jane but a way of life. She lovingly crafted prom dresses for her daughters and handmade afghans and quilts for her grandchildren, infusing each piece with warmth and love.

Her marriage to Julian was not only a union of hearts but also of culinary skills. Together, they delighted in cooking, especially mastering the art of making pierogis and ravioli. Their shared passion extended into their community contributions, preparing meals for church dinners at SS. Philip and James Church in New Castle. Jane’s legacy of creativity and community service will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
