Herbert W. Albers, aged 88, from Watseka, Illinois, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Born on October 6, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the child of Fred H. and Anna S. (Martens) Albers. Herbert tied the knot with Judith Hiser in Papineau on July 26, 1958. Judith remains to cherish his memory. His family includes his daughters Rhonda (Terry) Pence of Watseka, Laurie Albers of Aurora, IL, and Kristin Lundquist of Watseka; sons Kurt Albers of Martinton, and Erich (Sara) Albers of Waterloo, IL; grandchildren Anna (Zach) Virgin, Matthew (Jessica) Pence, William, and Henry Albers; as well as great-grandchildren Catey Virgin, Grace Virgin, and Jack Pence. Herbert was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Anna Weidhuner and Edna Vadbunker.
