Fred Gabriel Alouf, aged 98, of Roanoke, VA, died peacefully at his residence on Thursday, February 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Fred was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend whose warm presence and wise counsel enriched the lives of all who knew him.

Born on September 21, 1926, in Roanoke, VA, Fred was the son of Anna Marie Jabbour Alouf and Fred G. Alouf Sr. He grew up in Roanoke and was educated at Our Lady of Nazareth, later renamed Roanoke Catholic School. An early achiever, Fred completed his high school education at the age of 16. He continued his academic pursuits at The College of William and Mary, joining the ranks of ambitious young individuals from Virginia.
