About

Frank A. DeNoto, aged 93, from Bristol and the beloved husband of the late Dolores (Astolfi) DeNoto, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 1, 2024. Born in Bristol on February 21, 1931, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Susie (Onofrio) DeNoto. Frank, a lifelong resident of Bristol, completed his education at Bristol High School and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. His career spanned over 45 years, including more than three decades at the former Hildreth Press, followed by 15 years at Limra Insurance Company before his retirement.

Frank’s hobbies included watching Western films and playing solitaire. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and the UCONN women’s basketball teams. A devoted parishioner at St. Gregory Church in Bristol, his community and faith were central to his life.

He leaves behind his loving children, Michael DeNoto and his wife Rhonda of Bristol, and Donna Cyr of Terryville. He is also survived by his sister Laura DeNoto, and sister-in-law Joanne DeNoto, both of Bristol. His legacy extends to his six grandchildren: Korie, Glenn, Shaunna, Frank, Mickey, and Randy; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jordyn; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Salvatore DeNoto and his brother S. Thomas DeNoto.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby Street, Bristol. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol, with military honors to commemorate his service.
