Florence Ralph, aged 88 and a long-established member of the New Britain community, passed away peacefully on January 29th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a dedicated mother, treasured grandmother, and a dear friend to many.

Originally from Madawaska, Maine, Florence was the cherished daughter of Ernest and Aline (Gendreau). Her life was a testament to kindness, perseverance, and love. She devoted her life to her family, consistently providing guidance, comfort, and steadfast support.

She leaves behind her daughters, Debi Lee Sherman and Jackie Buchholz Mark, along with her adored grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia, and Ethan Lee, and siblings Yvette, Norman, and Lloyd.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and six of her siblings. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and were touched by her warmth.

Her enduring love and legacy will continue to resonate in the lives of her family and friends.

Visitation will be at Luddy and Peterson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Francis Catholic Church at 1010 Slater Road, New Britain, CT, 06053. A Christian mass burial will follow immediately at St Mary Cemetery in New Britain.
