Cynthia Marie Alexander, originally from Hermitage, PA, passed on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 2, 1949, in Sharon, PA, she was the cherished daughter of W. Dean Alexander and Florence (Parker) Alexander. Cynthia’s early education was in Sharpsville, PA, where she spent her first six grades and forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. She continued her education at Hickory School District, graduating in 1967. Pursuing higher education, Cynthia attended Temple University in Philadelphia before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University. Fulfilling her lifelong aspiration to live in New York City, she later achieved a Master of Science in Education from Touro College in New York, NY.
