Born on June 19, 1955, in American Fork, Utah, to Keith K. Adams and Melba Bronson Adams, Craig spent his formative years in his hometown, graduating from American Fork High School in 1973. From a young age, Craig embraced the values of the Boy Scouts, achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. His commitment to service continued as he served a mission for his church in Brisbane, Australia. He pursued higher education at Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Marketing, proudly representing the BYU Blue Cougars.
Professionally, Craig excelled as a campus recruiter and sales manager for Nestle Foods USA. Upon retiring, he dedicated himself to spiritual service, initially assisting in a bishopric at the Utah State Prison. His commitment deepened as he helped establish a Family History Library within the prison, an endeavor that expanded to five libraries under his stewardship over 14 years, including service on death row. His legacy of service and compassion remains a beacon to all who knew him.
