Craig R. Ahlers, age 50, from Sandusky, sadly departed this life on the evening of Friday, February 7, 2025. He died peacefully at his residence due to natural causes.

A 1992 graduate of Sandusky High School, Craig dedicated over two decades to working in ride maintenance at Cedar Point Amusement Park.

A devoted father and a paternal figure to many, including his nieces and nephews, Craig cherished moments spent with his family, particularly his children and grandchildren. His home was a haven of joy and laughter, always open to friends and loved ones. He relished the summer seasons, hosting barbecues and enjoying swims. Craig was also an avid fan of Ohio sports teams, cherished movie nights with loved ones, and participated enthusiastically in bowling leagues, where he met his soulmate. Despite facing numerous hardships, Craig’s resilience was formidable, teaching those around him strength and compassion, always ready to lend a supportive hand or a listening ear.
