Christine “Chris” Elizabeth (Parker) Ammer, aged 93, peacefully passed away at her home in Lexington, Massachusetts, on Friday, January 31, 2025. Chris leaves behind a loving family: her daughter Karen Ann Ammer of Los Altos Hills, California; her son-in-law, David Mark Spector, along with their daughters, Lauren Elizabeth and Emily Helene Spector; her son, John Matthew Ammer of Vienna, Virginia, accompanied by his wife, Patrice T. Robitaille, and their sons, Brian Dean and Paul David Ammer; as well as her son, David Scott Ammer of Ann Arbor, Michigan, his wife, Nell K. Duke, and their children, Julia Lane Ammer and Cooper Davidson Duke. Chris was the widow of Dean Sherwood Ammer, who predeceased her after 39 years of marriage and was originally from Tecumseh, Michigan. She was also predeceased by her parents, Herbert Henry Parker (formerly Pollak) and Helene Reitmann Parker (formerly Pollak), (Reitmann), from Forest Hills, New York. Born on May 25, 1931, in Vienna, Austria, she was originally named Christa Lisbeth Emilie Angelika Pollak.
