Charlotte Agnes Writer, originally from Richmond Hill, NY, passed away at the age of 94 on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. Her loving son and daughter were by her side during her peaceful departure.

After growing up in Richmond Hill, Charlotte moved to Elmont, NY, where she resided for more than five decades. Following the death of her dear husband, Donald, in 2012, she relocated to Frederick in 2013 to stay close to her family.

Charlotte dedicated her life to her home and family, working several part-time jobs before eventually securing a full-time position as an executive secretary in the data processing division of Nassau County. After over 25 years of faithful service, she retired in the late 1990s.

Retirement allowed Charlotte and Donald to explore the United States by car and enjoy various cruises. They cherished visits with their grandchildren in Maryland. At home, Charlotte was passionate about cooking for her family, frequenting movies and Broadway shows, and she had a particular fondness for ice cream.
