Catherine E. Adams passed away calmly on Tuesday, January 29, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Colonel Nathaniel M. Adams, Jr., and mother to the late Geoffrey G. Adams Sr. and the late Carolyn Spivey. She leaves behind three grandchildren—L’Taja, Geoffrey Jr., and Anastasia—as well as her niece Inez Adams, along with numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Redeemer, Presbyterian, located at 1423 Girard St., NE, Washington, DC 20017. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Redeemer Presbyterian, USA — Social Ministries Fund.
