Carol Ann Adams, aged 81, of Leakey, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Known affectionately as “Carol Ann” by her close friends and “Mrs. Carol” by many others, she entered the world in a unique manner—breech, or as she humorously put it, “ass-backwards”—on May 30, 1943, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston.

A proud alumna of St. Pius X Catholic School and S.P. Waltrip High School, Carol furthered her education at Texas Woman’s University. Above all, Carol was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a cherished friend. Her presence made a profound impact on all those fortunate enough to know her.
