Arlene Viola Aker, aged 87, a long-time resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died on February 19, 2025. Born on August 10, 1937, in Fort Wayne, Arlene was the cherished daughter of Alphonse and Rosella (Vachon) Schuhler. She completed her education at Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and maintained lifelong ties to St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where she was deeply involved. Her commitment to the church included active participation in the Rosary Sodality and leading the parish Right to Life group for over twenty years. Before she embarked on her journey as a homemaker, Arlene was employed at General Electric. She later resumed her professional life, working in office administration roles at several companies including Essex Group, Lucky Steer Restaurants, Kmart Distribution, and Alpha Shirt Company.
