Meredosia, IL – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Elizabeth “Mandy Moo” Allen, aged 44, who died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Sun Valley, NV.

Born on September 3, 1980, in Rushville, Amanda was the cherished daughter of Donald Perry and Mary Eileen (Sweeten) Allen Jr. Raised in her grandparent’s home, she affectionately called her grandmother Eva “Mom”, who played a pivotal role in her upbringing.

Amanda leaves behind a loving family: her father, Donald (Portia) Allen Jr. from San Diego, CA; her mother, Mary Holsman of Jacksonville; her aunt, who was also like a big sister and best friend, Cathy Allen (partner Ed Chute) of Meredosia; her uncle, Gary Allen, whom she regarded as a brother; her siblings, Brittany (Jake) Bolger of Dale, IN, Robert (Serena Campbell) Holsman Jr. of St. Croix, IN, Courtney (Adam) Mesner of Huntingburg, IN, Andrew (Amanda) Allen of Jacksonville, Diamond (Pierce) Saint Hill of Oceanside, CA, Exquisite (Cody) Samuels of Olive Branch, MS, and Donald Randall Alen of San Diego, CA; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Amanda’s presence will be dearly missed but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
