Adele Lea Adams, a longtime resident of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, in Verona, Missouri, at the age of 89. Born on October 20, 1935, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, she was the daughter of Freddie and Velma Blystone.
Adele completed her education at El Dorado Springs High School and subsequently embarked on a varied career that included roles in retail clothing sales and as a certified nursing assistant at Mercy Hospital. Above all, she cherished her role as a homemaker, dedicating her life to her family and home.
On December 16, 1951, Adele married her beloved husband, Jimmie Adams, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Their loving union brought forth five children: Jimmie David, Linda, Tammy, Diana, and Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Velma; her husband, Jimmie; her children’s spouses, Pamela Adams, Bruce Tate, and Hadley Fisher; and six of her siblings. Adele’s life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her commitment to her community.
